WHAT IS REACTOR X?
SG (Scott Grey) Products introduces the Reactor Dual Regulator- called the REACTOR X, the best power system for R/C helicopter applications. With many new high voltage servos entering the market, the standard single power connectors, switch harness and under-gauge wiring are now inadequate setups for the common helis today. Major voltage drops during flight, brown-outs to the RX and inconsistent power current delivery to all servos leaving an inconsistent in-flight feel can cause many problems while trying to use high powered servos.
WHAT DOES REACTOR X DO?
Reactor X provides even and consistent electric power to all electronics on a heli or an airplane. It is specifically designed for use with all standard digital servos as well as new generation high performance servos from Futaba and JR ensuring high current and regulated voltage supply of power.
Reactor X harnesses the true power of the lipoly battery by providing three direct bus connection to access its power but maintaining a steady 6v flow of current for 4.8 rated servos and 6.8v flow of current for 6v rated servos to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy of movement. This exclusive feature ensures maximum current allowance to the servos for the most responsive and electronically correct power setup on the market today. This product is fully tested and fully proven by competitive pilot in top F3C and 3D Heli competition like Scott Grey.
WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOUR HELI or AIRPLANE?
Reactor provides solid power and current to your Heli or Airplane systems that will feel, and react like never before.
Reactor supplies Direct power to the swash plate servos. Whether mechanical mix or CCPM, these 3 servos get steady high voltage delivered right from the Reactor and power source- not filtered through many connections, switch harness and receiver. Faster more powerful servo response and available current give your helicopter a whole new feel- and it's the same feel flight after flight!
Remaining servos, gyro and accessories plug into the receiver and run at a constant 5.2 volts. Gyro and high speed tail servos perform better at this constant voltage and have longer lifespan compared to over-voltage on other regulator systems.
WHAT MAKES THE REACTOR X DIFFERENT FROM OTHER VOLTAGE REGULATORS?
•New “Never-shut-down” circuitry ensures constant power delivery in any possible condition.
•New red anodized heat sink for reliable operation with any type of servos, radio system and harshest of environments.
•Exclusive Voltage Bus selectable output setting: CCPM servos can be operated at 6.0V or 6.8V when using new generation high current JR servo or Futaba brushless servos. A small switch on the Reactor now allows the user to pick the desired output voltage. No setup required.
•Receiver and tail servo/gyro operate at rock steady 5.2V.
•Peak system amperage draw is now over 15A to support multiple high current drain servos and extreme 3D flight.
